how can i tell? the birds are all doing very interesting mating dances, i'm no longer comfortable sleeping under the covers at night, and sunset happens a full hour later than it did just a month ago. but what's the most obvious sign?
my grass is dying.
yep, just 3 days ago, my entire yard was various shades of green, but all green nonetheless. today upon going out, i found it to be about a 50/50 mix of green and 'help me i'm dying' yellow. dangit.
of course, we could water it more, but i'm trying to be eco-friendly and not use up a resourse that's pretty precious here, not to mention that the neighbors all practically drowned their yards last summer, and they still looked pretty shabby.
maybe it's time to get out the green spraypaint.
