this space used to be filled with a card table and pop-up sports chairs, and you got to eat with your plate just a few inches from your chin. i would have to say that this is an improvement.

plenty of room for mainland visitors!

as you can tell, the walls are bare... i'm not really deeming decorating accessories and 'needs' right now. if you look closely, (esp if you click on the pic) you can see the great Christmas present seb's folks got us.. the patio table and chairs, under the great huge canopy we got soon after. now don't you want to visit! other pics of the first floor can be found here. sorry, some of them are sideways, haven't figured out how to fix that yet. as i have more time, i'll get this collection more organized and add new folders. don't forget to check out the pics from seb's folks' visit... few but great!
