he has been doing great with sitting, and although it's not at the point where i can put him down and walk away, confident that he can fend for himself against that nemesis, gravity, he can sit for several minutes at a time before he either runs out of ATP and just starts slumping or reaches a bit too far and needs a gentle push back in the right direction.
both his front bottom teeth have erupted as well, and he is enjoying feeling them with his tongue and hearing a satisfying 'click' when chewing on his toys. he is also, however, taking a bit too long for my liking to learn that biting himself (fingers, toes, whatever reaches) leads to injury, and by extension, that biting mommy leads to injury, too. the biting may be worsened by the fact that he seems to possibly be getting another tooth up top, though as with the bottoms, it may be some time before we know for sure if that's the case. i just know we had a good few days' reprieve after both teeth finally popped through, but now he's back to gnawing frantically.

"that nemesis, gravity"... I love that! :) You make me smile.
That second picture of Caleb is way cute (I guess the first one's kinda cute too). Josh and I had a little discussion about how Caleb listened so quietly during Bible study... I don't think Josh understood though, cause he doesn't seem to comprehend English yet. Oh well.
