deflated.... but filled right back up

sunday morning we went out to the car to head for church, and found this:
yeah, that's about how i felt, too. we love our church, but in addition to missing that, we had planned afterwards to head up to the north shore, roam some botanical gardens up there, and catch some lunch (and maybe pineapple ice cream, i suspected.) instead, seb spent about 2-3 hours getting the tire fixed.

but, it gave caleb time for a nap (more on that later) and me some time to clean up a bit. seb got home early enough, we decided the north shore was out, it was too late and starting to rain up there anyway, so we took advantage of everyone watching the super bowl, and headed up to a mall for lunch, on a sunday, something that would be pretty difficult otherwise. we decided on macaroni grill, and as a result, caleb got his first drawing experiences.
of course, i gave him a little help with the spelling. not the north shore, but a good family afternoon, nonetheless.
