we are officially coming to the mainland!

all 3 of us will get there thursday may 15th, though seb is leaving soon after, the 18th, to come back to work, i will be on the mainland until the 22nd of june - 5.5 weeks! gotta make the most of those plane ticket prices!

specifically, i am staying until seb can come back and do the return flight with me, after his friend's wedding on the 21st. no sense in both of us going back to hawaii and then having to go to the mainland again.. and it will make sure i have plenty of time to see family, friends from kirksville, and hopefully... some of my high school friends!

they don't know this yet, (unless of course, they actually read this) BUT we are going to go to chicago from june 16-18th, for a little family vacation, and i am really hoping to get to see some of them that live in that area. we are also planning to go to the Shedd Aquarium, the museum of science and industry, and the Field museum (natural history, not a museum of fields ;)

early in the visit we will cram-pack seb's brother's graduation from veterinary school and my family's family reunion into 2 days. it will be interesting to see how our then 7 month old baby will handle all the travel, time change, and lots and lots of strangers anxious to hold him. better start passing him around on sunday mornings now.
