my little fashionista

caleb has been getting more and more into helping dress and undress himself, and occasionally has an opinion on what he would or would not like to wear. usually his attempts to dress himself end up with something draped over his head or dragging around some pants hanging on to one foot, but at least he's got the general concept and names of types of clothes. 

today when i stepped out for a minute he decided to stop building with his blocks and do a full inventory of his dresser drawers instead...

and then proceeded to pick out a rather elaborate ensemble...

that's a polo shirt, then some overall shorts, followed by two other button-down t-shirts, and to finish, some swimming trunks thrown in for good measure. i think he thought it was a nice splash of color. 

somewhere in all of that mess is a cute outfit, i'm sure of it!
