he got plenty of pictures and video, which is good, since i don't think i managed to get the camera out the entire time he was here. at any rate, this is one of his favorite clips that he took during his visit. it is sorta long, so, view in its entirety at your own risk.
i think this particular bout of excitement was brought on by the shiny new wheels he's on, he'd been trying to ride his little hand-sized push cars, so we decided to get him something a little more appropriate. problem is, his toes barely touch, and he can only manage to go backwards on his own!
though he is verbalizing much more than he was even a month ago, and though he does have a repertoire of about 12 words (more details later) he has been deemed behind enough to benefit from speech therapy, assuming, that after a 3rd evaluation in as many months, they actually get it set up and started before we move.
i personally think he'd come along at his own rate when he's ready, i think he gets by well enough with his signing that he doesn't feel that compelled to speak - but i don't think the therapy could possibly hurt him, and i too would like to hear him sound more human than wookie ;)
