happy shrieks

a brief picture of noah's personality these days - not complete by any means, but one end of an extreme - can be seen in his happy shrieks, what i call his excited bursts of absolute screeching that occurs when he is so positively delighted, he doesn't know what else to do.

it can be brought on by almost anything: a ball, some of his favorite food, his brother smiling at him, a piece of fuzz he found on the carpet.

this time, it was water.

you can see he's trying to catch and drink it, we didn't catch it on video but a few moments later he decided to be more efficient about it and put himself face down to try to get a sip. we are going to have to watch this one.
