a couple weeks ago i shot this video of caleb. i have been just putting the thing on record and letting it run lately, because i can almost never plan to catch anything worthwhile on video. but don't worry, it has been mercifully edited from the original 12 minute stretch.

i asked him to sing a song for daddy, and this was the result. it seems like he's singing something he's heard before but it's nothing we usually play on his music, my music, and we don't have cable or watch much more than signing time and planet earth. so i am clueless. it is clear that it seems to be more of a girl-oriented song (you'll hear him talk about his skirt) which makes me hope all the more that this is a repeating and not an original composition.
