priorities

i've been kicking myself lately for (once again) taking forever to get any posts done. it's gotten to where i feel like every entry has to be gigantic to try to play catch up. at the end of the day, it's dishes, or laundry, or groceries, or just plain good old rest, so i can spend time WITH my children during the day and not just trying to keep them distracted so i can tend to all my chores or be half-there with exhaustion. and i know you don't care (that much) it's more that i want to write it down for me to remember it later.

i was out in the snow with caleb and trying to get him to smile (over and over again) so i could take a picture.

he said to me, clear as day, 'mommy, put the camera away, come play WITH me!'

at least one of us has it right. i'll get the the blog when i get to the blog (including cute pictures of him looking dismayed in the snow.) more important to make sure i have time to make the memories than to record every excruciating detail.
