one month left

it's really hard to believe we only have a month left (or possibly a little less for me and caleb) in the place we've called home for the past 5 years.

i'm a little sad, this house has alot of memories for us that we will cherish forever, but i guess i have accepted our future as a mobile military family well enough to not place too much sentiment on any four walls. and while most of the friends we made here have already moved away themselves, we will be leaving behind a precious few that we would really like to take along with us.

but mostly, i am looking forward to the months to come, i know they will be stressful and not always comfortable, but our house is in escrow, the movers are scheduled to come in 2 weeks, and we have already started to pack and plan our first few weeks on the mainland. i think i am just ready for this change, and especially to be closer to our families, however temporary that may be as well.

the next couple weeks of prepping to have our stuff moved may be a bit hectic and i doubt i'll post much for a bit, but we should be staying connected one way or another throughout the move, so though we won't know what our new address will be until possibly the second half of july, you'll still be able to reach us through email if you want, and our phone numbers won't change for some time either.

hope to be actually SEEING (and quite possibly hugging) some of you very soon!

Take your pictures and make a Bucket List for the last few weeks. PTL you are in escrow! Ahh the blessings of being a transient family are friendships. How you have invested, and others have shared. Sniff sniff the Pattersons are going to be there in a few days. They have orders to Hawaii.
