i was looking for an umbrella stroller, because i wanted something i wouldn't mourn too greatly if the baggage handlers tossed it up an entire flight of stairs and then piled more strollers on top of it, like they did with our travel system stroller, and that i could take along on trips that won't take up the entire back of the jeep or trunk of a car.
the problem was, i was really attached to my nice big basket, and my cupholders, and the various other compartments in the big SUV of a stroller my graco is. and all the umbrella strollers i saw around town were either super expensive, or didn't really fold up very compact, or didn't have anywhere to stow anything besides the baby, or if it did you could barely access it.
enter amazon.com. i love amazon. if i can't find it here? i can find it on amazon. if i don't want to drag caleb all over the place to look for something? i can order it from amazon. and best of all, almost everything i usually shop for qualifies for their free shipping. as did our sweet new stroller. it folds up just like any other umbrella stroller, but has a basket you can actually get into plus a cloth storage compartment strung between the handles that could manage a couple of water bottles, your keys, your camera, your sunglasses, a banana for the road, and a couple of small toys. AND caleb seems to really like not having anything in front of him to obstruct his view, and was excitedly pumping his legs as we walked along. here he is, actually getting some daddy time that's not in the wee early hours of the morning:
i'm not gonna say what kind of stroller it is, but, if you want to track it down, just go to amazon, it won't take that much looking.

BOB...well...it saves us on gas in the morning on the way to preschool...I like to think of it as economical. ;) (Please, do roll your eyes....I have a huge smile on my face!!!)
