here is mr. caleb, and looking quite happy. i might be biased, but i think he is pretty darn cute.)
i think he's gonna have his daddy's face but his momma's attitude. when i took this picture, he seemed to be saying, why aren't you feeding me already? so far that is how we spend most of our waking time. but he has been a very kind baby so far, sleeping (mostly) through the night since his second night home, and only really crying alot at diaper changes and when he's hungry.i think motherhood has a natural tendency to bring out the weird and crazy in you. i like to smell his breath, i have had and successfully fought an urge to bite his ear (gently of course) and have found myself singing 'let's go to boobville, where everything is soft and round and full of milk.' these however are tame lyrics compared to the ones seb has concocted. the chorus line to one is 'mommy whip one out' and another discusses caleb's dreams of roaming breast shaped hills below nipple shaped clouds that rain milk.
poor caleb, he is greatly loved, but his parents are going to embarrass him sooooo much.

These pictures made me laugh so hard! I love his adorable face! You have rockin' baby (we knew you would).
So, I think Seb's been giving Caleb funny face lessons already. Seb's got great animation and Caleb looks the picture of happy excitement/enthusiasm. Not a bad thing. Hopefully, for Mommy's sake, he won't be able to hand down his "crazy man" act. :)
He's looking great! (Those germs haven't made a dent, though I understand the fears.)
