well, thanks to not thinking about it in time, seb and i will have to sit this election out.. turns out, requesting absentee ballots to vote in missouri needed to have been done about 5 weeks ago. how could we be so dumb? we knew the elections were coming up! but it didn't even dawn on us until maybe 2 weeks ago that this whole 'voting' thing takes more effort than just showing up and checking off our chosen boxes. we both would have had to update our registration as well, since our address had changed and my last name had changed since the last election. sucky! not that we didn't have alot going on to distract us... but really, i feel like such a loser that we didn't put two and two together in time to do our civil duty (and privilege.) feel free to bash at will! of course, those of you that are bush-haters are probably supressing a fiendish grin. well, go on then, vote for kerry, mr 'my platform is that i'm not bush and i'm probably just as incompetent as he is and might not really do anything i said i would but you don't know that for sure yet so i look great by comparison.' you might not be doing the country any good (not that bush will either) but at least you were smart enough to make sure you can get yourself to the polls!
