so a key part of noah's potty habits is his insistence on taking his pants completely off instead of just pushing them down.
this means that if he's still wearing this tight, clingy, long, and therefore hard to remove pajama pants i should change him out of them as soon as he wakes up instead of letting him play in them.
because if i do that, he will absolutely, definitely, desperately need to go potty in the two measly minutes i was out of earshot and didn't know he needed to go.
which means that i will come back into earshot just in time to hear him say 'i was trying to help' and walk in to the bathroom to find a bewildered, apologetic noah standing in the midst of pee and poo absolutely everywhere.
