he still gets pretty worked up watching me mash up a banana for him (he literally tries to climb out of his seat to get to the bowl) but now also loves pears and peaches (when they're sweet.)
a few weeks ago we let him try yogurt, and it is a definite winner, which excites me since he now has a great source of fats besides yours truly. (i would love my yogurt too if i could get away with eating the whole milk version - yum!)
due to tornado warnings that kept us downstairs for hours past his bedtime, caleb was introduced to wheat a few days earlier than planned on some yummy pizza crust that he took to immediately, so now he can enjoy munching down on toast and puffs and i can enjoy having more foods on hand i can turn to that require minimal preparation or planning, and give caleb a chance to practice self-feeding (although that seriously increases the mess factor.)
and by the way, i'm not usually one for product placement, but that is the bumkins superbib he is wearing, it lives up to its name and i highly recommend it.
and because i'm paranoid and don't remember my blogger terms of agreement, i was not compensated for that endorsement.
