apparently they've made it easier since my last post

because i am not a fast learner. this was baby caleb at 33 weeks (i'm 36 now.) he looks either like he's very tired from the whole ultrasound experience or he's preparing for a career in theater.

we were told he has chubby cheeks, plenty of hair, and that his head sized 1 week older than the rest of his body (ouch.)

this was the 3rd attempt at the 3-d ultrasound; at 20 weeks he was not shy at all, flashing the bits and pieces all over the place, determined to make sure we knew he was a he. 13 weeks later, he did not want to show himself at all, and at the first attempt, the ultrasound tech informed us, and then showed us, that he was in fact licking my placenta, smashing his face up in the process and guaranteeing bad images (and proving that weirdness is genetic.)

even when he finally showed us his face (unsmashed,) he would only give us a profile, not a straight-on look. this was the best image we got.
