I went to the beach by myself for the first time yesterday... the plan was to spend some time swimming, then read for my HOMEWORK and/or throw my book into the ocean. i relented however and the book remains dry and painfully readable. i have my first class tomorrow night and so obviously will be starting my paper this evening ;). After all the lectures i could give to the kids at work about their homework, i can be just as bad as they were at wanting to procrastinate!

i miss work. i miss the daily interaction with friendly, familiar people and i miss the kids. half of them are probably gone now but i will always remember best the group that was there when i left, frozen there in my memory like a beloved picture. i hope they are all ok.
