I don't even know how long it's been since the last post because i'm too much in a hurry to check right now. Just know it's been a while.
since then (whenever it was) we've
-spent an unfortunately large amount of money (like buying a nice new car amount) to replace what turned out to be a 35 year old septic system.
-lived to tell the tale of staying with my sister in law for over 7 weeks while that system was repaired.
-gotten fleas again? maybe? we're not sure.
-gotten a cat because the kids were desperate for a pet and a cat loaded with flea meds gives me a roaming flea arsenal.
-spent $500 on vet bills and necessary items for that 'free' shelter cat.
-only had limited contact with the cat who needed a tooth extraction, had tapeworms, and is currently sneezing blood and has spent most of her week with us so far in quarantine in the laundry room.
-watched both boys grow up so much I can hardly believe it. That will have to be a much longer post on another day.
I want to post some updated pictures of them soon, but first I need to check and see if I have any, and then take some if I don't. Just wanted to do a quick post today to say we're still kicking it out here in western washington and doing well.
